#SIDays22 – How robots can feel

A sensitive robot finger with a sense of touch

Do robots have a sure touch? Until now, this is rare because there are few good touch sensors. We have developed a sensor finger that significantly improves the situation. The interesting thing about the finger is that it feels by seeing: a small camera is hidden inside. An artificial intelligence has learned to deduce exactly where and how much the sensor is touched. You can touch the artificial finger and find out how it works! The event will be held in German.
